Le, la, les
Bonjour !
Today, we started asking questions about someone's name, age, and where they live. We sat in our warm up circle and asked each other:
Comment t'appelles-tu ? (What's your name ?)
Quel age as-tu ? (how old are you ?)
Ou habites-tu ? (Where do you live ?)
We'll go over them regularly, just as we do with the body parts.
Here are some sentences that the kids have built around the body parts ... (each kid will be able to point to the sentence that she has built):
La bouche est belle
Le nombril est petit
Les dents sont belles
We have discovered that the French have different ways to say "the":
le / la and les when there are more than one
We have learned a new song (again, about body parts!): It is called "Jean Petit qui danse" To hear it, click HERE. It goes:
... and we did games, and counted up to one hundred! Cent!
See you next Tuesday!
A mardi prochain !
